ZOTAC has redefined the next generation of mini-PC by launching a new generation of eco friendly small form factor ZBOX HD-ID11 PC that is powered by next-generation NVIDIA® ION™ technology. The unique graphics processing power of NVIDIA® ION™ is the specialty of this mini-PC with 16 unified shaders and 512MB of DDR3 graphics memory packaged with NVIDIA® CUDA™ and NVIDIA® PureVideo™ HD technologies for an eco friendly computing experience. NVIDIA® CUDA™ technology taps into the NVIDIA® ION™ graphics processor to drastically improve the processing power of video and image editing applications. This technology also supports DirectCompute and OpenCL powered applications that is completely compatible with general purpose GPU computing applications.

The ZOTAC ZBOX HD-ID11 mini-PC offers extraordinary high definition playback capabilities using GPU accelerated decoding of popular formats such as AVC, VC-1 and Blu-ray. It also features dual-stream hardware acceleration for Blu-ray, dynamic contrast and color stretch for spectacular picture clarity with NVIDIA® PureVideo™ HD technology. Also streaming high definition Internet video on YouTube™ render smoothly and flawlessly in full screen with the ZOTAC ZBOX HD-ID11 and Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1.

ZBOX comes with HDMI 1.3a connectivity ports ensuring that the device connects to the latest monitors and televisions, keeping the best visual quality & supporting the latest technologies such as xvYCC Color, Deep color and high-resolution 7.1-channel digital surround sound.  The new xvYCC Color and Deep color technologies enables wider range of colors and higher bit depths up to 48-bit color for richer colors and greater details. This device is perfect for home theater PC for watching high-definition movies with premium audio tracks.

Accessing the internals of this device is pretty easy with its tool-less case design. Users can simply remove two thumb screws to access the internals. The internal expansion includes space for a single 2.5-inch hard drive and one 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM slot. Externally there are six USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA 3.0 Gb/s port and a 6-in-1 memory card reader capable of reading SD, SDHC, MMC, MS, MS Pro and xD memory cards for limitless expansion capabilities.

The processor of this device is an energy-efficient dual-core Intel® Atom™D510, 1.66 GHz with Intel® HyperThreading technology. The ZBOX HD-ID11 will be shipped with Windows® 7 Premium featuring Aero® peek, Aero® shake and GPU accelerated media transcoding which is fully supported.
