Toshiba Dynadock U3.0 Universal Docking Station

Toshiba has recently launched a new universal docking station by the name of Dynadock U3.0 with a 15.6″ USB 3.0 Mobile Monitor. It provides easy connectivity to any Windows based system  with a provision of extending the system display. The docking station features four USB 3.01 ports that allows connectivity to any peripheral device by acting as a central hub without cluttering the desktop space. It also has two more USB 2.0 ports. The front two ports are designed with a new technology “USB Sleep & Charge” that allows users to charge their smartphones or MP3 players even when the laptop is off or in the sleep mode.

Almost any peripheral, including printer, scanner or drives can be easily connected to the device. The product features Gigabit Ethernet card that provides faster Ethernet speed. The docking station houses a full HD digital card supporting an HDMI & DVI/VGA dual-display output that can connect up to two external HD displays.  It is also compatible with 5.1 surround systems that can be connected through HDMI or 3.5″ audio port providing a true multimedia experience.

The Mobile LED monitor which is an optional add-on to the dock, features a full HD 15.6″ widescreen anti-glare display with 1366 x 768 resolution. The monitor weighs approximately 3.6 pounds with its hybrid case cum stand and is merely one inch thin. The monitor is surely built to be carried easily and is very useful for people on the go especially sales & finance professionals who make a lot of presentations.

The Dynadock will be available by the end of the month at a price of $179.99. Whereas the Mobile Monitor will be available in April.
