Greg Bennett Samick Avion AV1

The Greg Bennett AV1 Samick is the most cost effective guitar in the AVION™ series guitar lineup. It offers its own unique visual appeal and performance benefits on top of the famous Greg Bennett design.

One of it’s key aesthetic feature is it’s arch maple top on a solid mahogany body that adds mass for rigidity under the bridge, preventing the body from stealing energy from the string. Though it is heavier comparative to other electric guitars in this range, the improvement in attack and sustain is worth it. The single cutaway design reduces the exposed area of the neck, making it more secure and therefore more rigid combining with a set neck to improve the string performance.

Design wise it has a bound flat top with a solid Nato body and maple bolts on neck. The nut width is 1⅝″ and the rosewood fingerboard is 12″ in radius. It has a dot inlay on the fretboard with 22 frets on a 24″ scale. The hardware is all made of chrome with die cast tuners. It has a dual humbucker pickups and a stop tail piece with adjustable bridge. AVI has two simple knobs on it for volume and tone control and also features a 3-way selector switch.

It costs about 12,000 INR which is 550 USD approximately and is available in 3 colors, Black, Wine Red and Vintage Sunburst. Samick AV1 Avion is an exquisite device with a genuine Greg Bennett design, crisp tones and exceptionally high performance packed in a very cost effective way.
