Fender’s American Deluxe Jazz Bass
The American Deluxe Jazz Bass guitar captures the spirit of Fender innovation with its three-band active EQ, pair of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups and 18-volt power supply. It’s one of the favourite bass guitar for the
bands like Sepultura, Black Presidentn and Juannes.
This alder-body bass has a modern C-shaped, graphite-reinforced maple neck with a contoured heel, five-bolt neck plate, maple or rosewood rolled-edge fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and highly detailed nut and fret work. Other features include chrome hardware, a variety of pickguards, deluxe chrome-plated steel bridge and Fender/Schaller Deluxe Lite-Bass tuning machines.
It is available in four colors Sunburst, Amber, Olympic Pearl, Montego Black (Urethane Finish) and it’s fingerboard is created of Rosewood (P/N 019-4460) or Maple (P/N 019-4462) with a 241mm Radius. It contains 22 Medium Jumbo Frets and 2 Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz Bass Pickups. As for the controls, it has a master volume, pan pot, 3-band active EQ with treble Boost/Cut +/- 10 db @ 8kHz, a shift in the cut frequency, and about a 2dB slope per octave.
The bridge is a deluxe chrome plated steel with Strings-Thru-Body or Top Load and Nickel plated brass saddles. It contains a Posiflex graphite neck support rods and uses a 18 Volt Power Supply. It also has a contoured heel for easier access to upper frets. The American Deluxe comes with a standard molded case, cable, strap, straplocks and costs around $2199.
