Bose In-Ear Headphone

The Bose Company finally ventured into the compact ear-bud style headphones market by bringing their unique In-Ear Headphones.

While not as good as its bigger noise-cancelling siblings (QuietComfort 2 and 3), the lightweight Bose In-Ear Headphones offer excellent sound quality and at an affordable price.  It is an ear-bud style headphone which delivers clear crisp sound as long as the background noise is not too loud. As unlike other ear-bud style headphones, the bass is not at all overpowering therefore maintaining a unique balance of clarity and beats even when it is used with Hip-Hop tracks.

The In-Ear Headphone comes with high-quality rubber ear-bud adapters with soft silicone tips that rest gently and securely in your ears. It comes with three different sets of adapters with different sizes for different sized ears. These provide an excellent seal in your ear, but also tend to loosen up a bit on any kind of movement that includes walking or jogging.  So for joggers it’s not a very preferred headphone. It also has a cable length of 1.24 m which might be considered enough for an ear-bud style headphone.

Bose also sends along a very nice leather case with the headphone kit. This small protective case helps keeping the cable organized and large enough to hold even a regular iPod. If you are looking for comfortable ear-buds with great sound quality, this can be considered as a sure winner.  It costs about 4,950/- (INR) and may be considered as one of the costliest ear-bud headphone in Indian Market (until Sony Nudex series gets released here).
