Apple iPhone 4.0

iPhone 4 is one of the hottest topic on everyone’s blog these days. The reason behind is the technological advancement which comes with every new version released that changes the face of competition. iPhone 4 is fairly superior to its predecessor 3GS as it’s running on a specially designed A4 processor for better performance and improved battery life. The size of the battery has also been substantially increased to provide longer talk times. Also it has included a completely new technology of a 3-axis Gyro for rotation in 3D-space. This is collaborated with the accelerometer and GPS for ultimate gaming experience.

The new iPhone has the display size of 3.5 inches diagonally similar to the previous models. But added to it is the pixel depth which is now 960 by 640 that is four times as many as the previous model. Also the contrast ratio is four times that of the iPhone 3GS bringing it up to 800:1 ratio. It uses the same IPS display technology as the iPad and the iMac for good color fidelity, brightness and viewing angle.

This will be the first Apple device to feature a flash on its camera (LED). A front-facing video camera is included for video calling option that incorporates a new application called FaceTime which allows iPhone to iPhone video calling only over Wi-Fi. The main camera has been redesigned bringing it up from 3 to 5 megapixels. The camera also features a backside illuminated sensor which increases the quality of images if shot in low-light. Since iPhone boast of HD quality (Real HD) video recording, the video footages are significantly better at 720p shot at 30fps. Apple has also split the volume keys for this device and added a secondary mic for noise cancellation on calls and while recording.

iPhone 4 comes with the newly launched iPhone OS, iOS4 with all of its features like multi-tasking, folders, custom wallpapers etc.. It will be released in two colours, white & black and of two storage capacities, 16GB & 32GB. As of now it has been polled as one of the most coveted gadget for the gadget collectors. This is due launch by the end of June though the devices have already been pre-booked for sale.
