Acer has come up with a latest gaming rig in the desktop segment. The Acer Aspire “Predator” AG7750 has a shell which imitates the appearance of a Predator (as seen in movies). The machine is powered by the Intel Core i7 quad-core processors and is packed with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX470 graphics card. It also features a 3-way SLI support and a 12GB DDR3 memory. With a combined DirectX 11, CUDA and NVIDIA PhysX Technologies “Predator” delivers an astonishing cinematic quality visuals.
There is more for the gamers as they can add an Acer 3D monitor for a fully immersive experience with NVIDIA 3D Vision. The Vision constitutes a combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software to quickly transform hundreds of games into a complete stereoscopic 3D experience. It features a high-definition 7.1-channel audio with EAX (Environmental Audio Extensions) 5.0 for clear heart pounding sound.
The Standard edition of Predator will come with a 1.5TB hot-swap SATA hard drive that is extendable to three additional hot-swap hard drives. The bay also supports two more GTX470 graphics cards (for Triple SLI), another optical drive and PCI/PCIe card expansion. Connectivity options are similar to all other desktops with 11 USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394, two eSATA ports, two Ethernet ports, two DVI-D ports, a TV-out port and six audio jacks. Predator is getting promoted as a true gaming machine for the people who doesn’t want to build-up a system from scratch. Acer has quoted a starting price of 1,999 USD for this powerhouse.
